  COMPANY HISTORY

From a craftsman’s workshop to a modern industrial company. Business success since 1871.

The KÖRBER family business goes back to the founding of a metalworking workshop in 1871. In those days the Körber family was already well-known and successful due to its craftsmanship and inventiveness. This entrepreneurial tradition was passed on over the generations, so that in 1956 the master metalworker Hans Körber, grandson of Friedrich Körber, started producing pipe elbows in the Westphalian town of Kirchlengern.

Rohrbogen Handwerksbetrieb KÖRBER

Long-established yet progressive

At KÖRBER, sound craftsmanship is still a matter of tradition. The former craftsman’s workshop has turned into a modern industrial company. Having moved into out present site of over 3,000m2 in 1972, our product spectrum was extended in 1975 and 1992 and now encompasses pipe elbows, vessel heads, fittings and specialised steel parts manufactured to a high quality level using TÜV-certified processes.

Rohrbogen, Kesselböden und Fittings seit 1956

Since 1990, the company has been managed in the third generation by Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Reinhold Körber. The commissioning in 2001 of a modern high-rise warehouse is just one of the factors that has shaped our development to a future-oriented industrial company – by enabling us to react flexibly to market requirements.
